You will be responsible for every aspect the development cycle. This includes analyzing the requirements, designing, implementing, testing, and documenting the functionality. Some design and layout will be performed, but the majority of work will be programming and project development. We work almost exclusively in the Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP platform, and this is will continue to be our focus. Additionally, you will evaluate new web programming technologies and apply them when appropriate. We are moving to a Web 2.0 model, and you will be expected to be able to implement these technologies as they appear.
Qualifications include a BS or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of web programming experience. Working knowledge in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and HTML is required. Experience in DHTML and XML is highly preferable. You must have strong problem solving and analytical skills, good verbal and written skills, and a team attitude. Experience in web usability, Flash programming, ASP, VB Script, web server administration, web content management system, and internationalization is a definite plus. New college graduates with minimum 1 year of web programming experience are encouraged to apply.
Salary and wages are based on education, experience, and expertise. We are currently filling both part-time and full-time web programming positions.
